National Instruments PXI-5652 PXI RF Analog Signal Generator

The NI PXI-5652, which is a 6.6 GHz Analog Signal Generator (Part Number: 779670-02), allows the user to disable the signal output on the RF OUT connector utilizing the Output Property enable. The user can also change the exit enable status amid waveform generation and generation internally.

The PXI-5652 Analog Signal Generator calibration is relative to a NIST-traceable standard over the predefined working temperature range. Calibration consists of two noteworthy parts – frequency exactness calibration and amplitude accuracy calibration. The NI PXI-5652 is sent with NI-RFSG, a completely utilitarian instrument driver meant for use with an assortment of application software environments, including NI LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and C.

This model offers a Frequency Shift Keying (FSK). The PXI-5652 Signal Generator is fit for creating 2-FSK signals. The user can control the accompanying calibration parameters:

• Internal modulation waveform types – 1020-piece, client characterized bit stream, or pseudorandom bit succession (PRBS).

• Symbol rate.

• FSK deviation NI-RFSG calculates the correct symbol rate and FSK deviation, which can vary somewhat from the input parameters.

The On-Off Keying (OOK) is another important function included. OOK is a modulation scheme that varies the power level of the carrier signal between two discrete power levels. The user can control the accompanying modulation parameters:

• Internal regulation waveform write – PRBS.

• Symbol rate- A bit estimation of 1 sets the carrier signal power to the arranged power level. A bit estimation of 0 sets the carrier signal power to the most reduced conceivable level for this frequency.

PXI-5652 Mature Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the RF Analog Signal Generator will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
