National Instruments PCIe-1427 Frame Grabber

The PCIe‑1427 (Part number: 779706-01192823-01) is a high-resolution Frame Grabber Device by National Instruments. Capable of high speed acquisition for applications such as scientific imaging, the NI PCIe-1427 Frame Grabber is compatible with any base configuration Camera link camera. The difference between the two part numbers of the PCIe-1427 is that part number 779706-01 is the standard version of the device, while part number 192823-01 is the board only version.

The NI PCIe-1427 features 2 optically isolated input channels that can be used as either current sinking or sourcing. The input voltage for these channels ranges from 0 to 30 V, and the maximum pulse rate measures at 100 kHz. In terms of software, the NI PCIe-1427 utilizes the NI-IMAQ driver software from National Instruments- which facilitates the direct control of image capture devices. The NI-IMAQ boasts a vast library of ADE (application development environment) functions, including video setup, memory buffer allocation, trigger control, and more. Part of the NI Vision Acquisition software, this driver allows the NI PCIe-1427 to be compatible with software packages including LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW, NI Vision Builder, and more.
