The ADLINK PCI-DAS6013 is a sophisticated PCI-based data acquisition (DAQ) board, specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial and laboratory environments. With 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels that can be selected by software, this DAQ board offers versatility for a range of applications. The board provides a maximum conversion rate of 200 kS/s for a high-resolution 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). To handle various signal kinds and levels, it supports many input ranges that can be set via software, including ±10 V, ±5 V, ±500 mV, and ±50 mV. Additionally, the PCI-DAS6013 has an integrated 40 MHz counter for A/D pacing, which guarantees accurate and dependable data collection.

Apart from its strong analog input features, the PCI-DAS6013 has 8 digital I/O channels that may be individually configured for either input or output. With input low voltages of 0.8 V maximum and -0.5 V absolute minimum, and input high voltages of 2.0 V minimum and 7.0 V absolute maximum, these channels are compatible with 5V/TTL logic levels. With a current capacity of ±32 mA, the output channels can drive 3.80 V minimum (high) and 0.55 V maximum (low). With the PCI-DAS6013, data processing may be done quickly and efficiently using both programmed I/O and DMA modes, including demand and non-demand using scatter-gather DMA.

Additionally, the PCI-DAS6013 has outstanding features for calibration and precision. Specifications for absolute precision are provided, including ±29.4 LSB for the ±10 V range and ±45.2 LSB for the ±50 mV range. With calibration parameters kept in non-volatile RAM, the board allows auto-calibration, guaranteeing steady performance over time. It may be used in a variety of operating situations due to its environmental standards, which include an operation temperature range of 0 to 55 °C and a storage temperature range of -20 to 70 °C.
