ADLINK Technology Inc. cPCI-7230 Isolated Digital I/O Module
The cPCI-7230 Isolated Digital I/O Module is manufactured by ADLINK Technology Inc. with 16 DI channels and 16 DO channels. This module has two external interrupt sources and 5000 VRMS optical isolation. The ADLINK cPCI-7230 module has a 50-pin SCSI-II female I/O connector and programmed I/O for data transfers. The large input range of the module makes it simple to sense the status of external devices. The large output range makes the cPCI-7230 Digital I/O Module ideal for industrial automation and relay driving applications. In addition, the non-polarity feature is great for many types of industry applications.
This Digital I/O Module can be used in any 32-bit PCI slot and does not need to be configured for system resources. The system BIOS will install the system resource from the cPCI-7230 module’s configuration registers and system settings. The ADLINK cPCI-7230 Digital I/O Module has a power consumption of +5V @ 270 mA (typical). The user should also keep in mind that this module requires external power.
The cPCI-7230 can be utilized with Linux and Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000/2003 Server OS. This Digital I/O Module is compatible with several types of software, including DAQBench, AD-Logger, and VB.NET/VC.NET/VB/VC++/BCB/Delphi. The cPCI-7230 can be used with several different drivers as well, such as PCIS-DASK/X for Linux, DAQPilot for LabVIEW™, PCIS-DASK for Windows, and PCIS-DASK/X for Linux.
cPCI-7230 End of Life Status has been announced by ADLINK Technology Inc., but the Digital I/O Module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
