Keysight N2100A-H10 PXI Digital Communication Analyzer
The Keysight N2100A-H10 is an obsolete Digital Communication Analyzer (DCA) that is mainly utilized for production ATE applications. This PXI Digital Communication Analyzer was previously PXIT Inc. product PX2000-333 and may still be referred to as such in documentation. The N2100A-H10 is a 3-slot PXI card with an eye diagram, jitter assessment, and mask assessment in one device. The N2100A-H10 has a wideband optical input, which is great for electro-optical transceivers, TOSAs, and VSR parallel optics modules. There is also an electrical input on this analyzer, which is well-suited for ROSAs and high-speed serial data interconnects. With this analyzer, integral clock recovery is possible for measurements to 3.0 Gb/s maximum. The user should keep in mind that this model is not suggested for operation at 3.125 Gb/s with a PRBS-7 pattern.
Several of the measurements that can be made with the Keysight N2100A-H10 Digital Communication Analyzer include eye width, random jitter, P-P and RMS noise measurements, eye opening, mask comparison and margin, and a variety of others. This Keysight DCA can be controlled via the Control Panel. The top row of buttons can be utilized to configure the module, I/O, and link to the module. Additionally, the operation mode can be controlled with the list box in the top left corner. There are five measurement modes which can be accessed from the Control Panel. More information about the measurement modes and setting the parameters for the DCA can be found in the user manual.
