National Instruments 777664-01 Configurable Signal Conditioning Enclosure
National Instruments part number 777664-01 is an identifying part number for the CA-1000 a Configurable Signal Conditioning Enclosure created to enhance user-defined I/O connectivity and versatility. The NI 777664-01 enclosure supports various NI DAQ products such as the CB-50LP, SC-204X, SC-207X, SCB-68, and CB-68LPR. These accessories are mounted using a hardware panel located at the bottom of this device. When installing an SCB-68, it must first be removed from its original enclosure.
The power requirements, current excitation, and operating/storage environments are customizable and dependent on the specific accessory used. Designed for maximum connectivity and flexibility, this device accommodates applications with laptops, desktops, and can be rack-mounted as a portable enclosure. For desktop setups, one CA-1000 unit suffices, while multiple units can be stacked using the optional stack-mount kit. Additionally, the front panel on this device provides nine panelette slots for connecting various accessories.
Additionally, the rear panel can be removed to access nine more panelette slots, except when using the SCB-68 inside the CA-1000. Users have the flexibility to mix and match different types of panelettes. Each panelette, except the strain-relief panel, includes lead wires that connect to the screw terminals of the accessory mounted inside the device. This setup allows connections to any I/O signal available on the accessory. The NI 777664-01 enclosure provides five cable entry options, allowing you to position the 68-pin or 50-pin connector for your DAQ device on either the side or the rear of the CA-1000 enclosure.
