The CB-27 is an I/O Connector Block created by National Instruments. The NI CB-27 is assigned with the part number 777100-01. There are a few items required for the CB-27 to be utilized. These accessories include an installation guide, a reference label for the CB-27, a DAQCard, a computer, a Number 2 Philips screwdriver, a 1/8 in. flathead screwdriver, the PCMCIA-4350, DAQCard-AO-2DC, DAQCard-500, DAQCard-516, or another PCMCIA DAQ device, and tie wraps. This Connector Block allows the user to connect analog and digital signals to NI PCMCIA DAQ devices. The PR27-30F or PSH 32-30F cables are used with the CB-27 for the NI PCMCIA-4350. These cables are keyed a certain way, so ensure that they are inserted appropriately.
The NI CB-27 renders the connection of analog and digital signals to the 27-pin PCMCIA data acquisition products by National Instruments. The CB-27 Connector Block contains 28 screw terminals and a 30-position right angle connector with ejector ears. Every screw terminal correlates with a pin number on the connector. Other 27-pin PCMCIA DAQ devices by NI are compatible with the CB-27 as described in the user manual.
For the maximum working voltage, the inputs on the CB-27 Connector Block must be within ±20 V of GND. Ensure that the product meets the safety requirements as explained in the user manual.
