The NI-9922 is an outdoor ingress protection enclosure (IP) for electrical appliances. The NI-9922 is introduced by National Instruments. The NI-9922 is built with the part number 193406-01. This Outdoor IP Enclosure is designed to hold one Wi-Fi data acquisition (DAQ) module from the WLS-9xxx wireless DAQ device series. The NI-9922 is prepared to protect DAQ devices with a minimum ingress protection (IP-54) from stiffness of outdoor and moisture from harsh outdoor and industrial settings. The IP 54 rating is determined by the standard of IEC-60529. The first digit in the IP rating describes the degree of protection the enclosure provides from solid particles. The second digit in the IP rating refers to the protection against water.
