National Instruments BNC-2121 Terminal Block
Designed for NI-660X devices, the NI BNC-2121 (Part Number: 778289-01, 186906D-01L) is a Terminal Block. This Terminal Block allows seamless and quick connectivity to a NI-660X counter device. With this connector accessory, you can also test various functions and features of your counter device. The BNC-2121 can be used for any installed NI-660X device via a 68-position cable. One end of the 68-position cable is connected to the I/O connector of the connector accessory and the other end is connected to your NI-660X device.
This accessory comes equipped with a power status LED. The National Instruments BNC-2121 Terminal Block offers signal connectivity through BNC connectors and screw terminals. This accessory has two major connectivity areas: the user-defined functions and the PFI lines. The PFI lines contain bidirectional spring terminals and BNC connectors. The spring terminals and BNC connectors provide access to the PFI (Programmable Function Interface) lines on the target NI-660X device. Each digital I/O comes with an associated LED indicator, which shows the operating status of the relevant digital I/O.
The NI BNC-2121 comes with a variety of user-defined functions, including 6 output spring terminals, 6 user-defined BNC connectors, and 6 user-defined bidirectional spring terminals. The 6 user-defined BNC connectors are internally mapped to the matching BNC connectors. This Terminal Block features an integrated lowpass filter to provide you with a smoother trigger output without significant glitches. The National Instruments BNC-2121 Terminal Block can generate 24 pulses/encoder revolution. This Terminal Block comes with 2 spring terminals for quadrature encoders. The function generator in the BNC-2121 can generate TTL compatible square waves.
