Part number 779010-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-9435 C Series Digital Module. The module has a broad range of digital logic levels which makes it suitable for use with a wide range of industrial-grade sensors, switches, and other devices.
The 779010-01 features 4 digital input channels that can be configured in both sinking or sourcing mode. It supports input signals from ±5–250 VDC and from 10–250 VAC. As for the digital logic levels, in the OFF state, the input voltage remains ≤±1 VDC/VACpeak while the input current is ≤±200 µA DC/ACpeak. In the ON state, the DC input voltage and DC input current are ≥±4 VDC and ≥ 600 µA DC while the AC input voltage is ≥10 Vrms at 50/60 Hz and ≥3 Vrms at 1 kHz. Furthermore, the maximum input delay time for the module is 2.8 ms.
The 779010-01 consumes a maximum of 105 mW of power from the chassis while in the active mode. In the sleep mode, the maximum power consumed is just 1.3 mW. On the other hand, the thermal dissipation in active mode and sleep mode at 70 °C is 1.4 W (max) and 1.35 W (max) respectively.
