The 779012-01 is the identifying part number for the NI‑9263, a high-performance C Series Voltage Output Module by National Instruments. This module provides four simultaneously updating analog output channels with a nominal voltage range of ±10 V. It is intended to be used with CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems. Accurate voltage outputs are guaranteed via a 16-bit resolution digital-to-analog converter (DAC) built into each channel. In order to ensure accurate voltage signal production, the 779012-01 module has four simultaneously updating analog output channels, each of which is outfitted with a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). High signal output accuracy is made possible by the 16-bit DAC resolution. Operating within a nominal output voltage range of ±10 V, this module may provide a wide and flexible range to suit various application needs. Its minimum value is ±10.4 V, usual value is ±10.7 V, and highest value is ±11 V.

All channels of the 779012-01 module provide short-circuit protection and overvoltage protection up to ±30 V for safety and resilience. This safeguard increases the module's dependability in challenging industrial settings and prolongs its lifespan. The module also has high relative precision, a quick slew rate, and minimal crosstalk—all of which are essential for preserving signal integrity and performance.

The NIST-traceable 779012-01 ensures that the module satisfies strict performance and accuracy standards during calibration. There is an AO terminal and a common terminal (COM) on each channel of the module. All COM terminals are internally connected to the isolated ground reference. A channel-to-earth ground double isolation barrier is incorporated into this design to improve safety and noise immunity.

The module is very efficient since it has a low-power sleep mode that limits power usage to 25 μW. With a maximum thermal dissipation of 750 mW at 70 °C and a power consumption of 500 mW at –40 °C in active mode, the module maintains energy efficiency despite operating at high performance levels.
