Accurate voltage readings are guaranteed by the 779372-01, which has eight channels and a 12-bit ADC resolution. For a variety of data gathering applications, it uses an ADC of the Successive Approximation Register (SAR) type.
The 779372-01 is capable of handling a broad spectrum of input voltages; its usual measurement voltage is ±10.53 V channel-to-COM, and its measurement range is ±10.3V to ±10.8V. Up to ±100 V of overvoltage protection is included into every channel to ensure durability and dependability even in the event of erroneous signal connections or unanticipated signal spikes.
Designed for efficiency, the 779372-01 supports a low-power sleep mode, though this is contingent on the chassis it is integrated into. When in sleep mode, the system uses the least amount of power—only 1 mW—and releases the least amount of heat—32 mW. This module is robust, capable of being stored at temperatures between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius, and it functions well in a temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
