National Instruments 780030-01 C Series Digital Module

Part Number 780030-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-9426 Digital Module. For CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems, the NI-9426 is a 32-channel source digital input module. It is a part of the NI C Series of digital input modules designed for high-accuracy measurements in advanced data acquisition and control applications.

The 780030-01 uses a 37-pin DSUB connector and works with 24V industrial logic levels. This connects the module to various industrial electronic devices, sensors, and actuators. 

The digital logic levels for the 780030-01 are as follows:
- In the OFF state, the input voltage is ≥ (Vsup - 5 V) while the input current is ≤150 μA from the DI pin
- In the ON state, the input voltage is ≤ (Vsup - 10 V) and the input current is ≥330 μA from the DI pin
- In the Hysteresis stage, the input voltage and input current are 1.9 V minimum and 65 μA minimum respectively.

The input impedance for the 780030-01 is 30 kΩ ±5%. For safety purposes, ensure that the Vsup-to-channel voltage is 30 VDC maximum and the channel-to-earth-ground voltage is 60 VDC. Likewise, the module consumes a maximum power of 615 mW in active mode and 5 mW in sleep mode.
