Part Number 780110-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-9514 C Series Motor Drive Interface Module. This module is a part of the family of C Series motion modules and provides servo drive interface signals for a single axis. The 780110-01 can operate in either the position control mode (position loop) or the torque control mode (torque loop). The maximum control loop rate is 20 kHz for the position loop. There are multiple servo control loop modes: PID, PIVff, and dual-loop.
The 780110-01 can generate servo command analog outputs with a voltage range of ±10 V, relative to Drive Command COM and a resolution of 16 bits. The maximum output current is ±2 mA. On the other hand, the drive enable output has a voltage range of 0 to 30 V and can be configured as sinking or sourcing type through software.
