The input channels feature a 24-bit data sigma analog to digital converter that helps with converting the signal to digital format for performing digital signal processing. For precise and correlated timing of each channel, the analog modules are sampled together to get accurate and precise results from all the channels at once. 

Each channel has a voltage range of ±300 Vrms allowing this module to measure high voltage signals directly. It has a typical scaling coefficient of 50.66 μV/LSB allowing it to measure each level of the analog signal with fine detail with minimal to zero error. This analog input module has a maximum gain error of ± 0.23% and a maximum offset error of ± 0.05% over the full operating temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius.

The 780159-01 provides channel-to-channel isolation of 600 Vrms and channel-to-earth isolation of 300 Vrms ground isolation, verified by a 2,300 Vrms dielectric withstand test for 5 seconds ensuring that each channel operates independently without interference to help increase signal integrity. This module has an overvoltage protection of ± 450 Volts DC protecting it from sudden electrical spikes and transients. 

The device supports data rates ranging from 1.613 kS/s to 50 kS/s when using the internal 12.8 MHz master timebase. The 780159-01 can accept an external master timebase with data rates ranging from 390.625 S/s to 51.36 kS/s when connected with external devices that require clock synchronization with this module. It features filters that provide a passband frequency of 0.453 × the sampling rate and a stopband frequency of 0.547 × the sampling rate, with a rejection rate of -100 dB. Additionally, the part consumes a maximum of 495 mW in active mode and only 25 μW in sleep mode. It has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C. It supports relative humidity levels from 10% to 90%, is non-condensing, and can withstand operating vibrations up to 5 g and shocks up to 30 g.
