The National Instruments 781119-10, or NI-9264, is a 16-channel analog output module designed for high density systems. Each channel on this module has its own 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). This ensures simultaneous and independent updates for precise control across all channels. The module supports a ± 10 V output range with a typical range of ± 10.5 V and a maximum current drive of ± 16 mA for all channels combined. This configuration allows users to implement accurate and reliable voltage control in multi channel applications while conserving space in the chassis.

The 781119-10 module features a slew rate of 4 V/µs and a settling time of 20 µs for a 20 V step. Its output accuracy is enhanced by a typical gain error of 0.05 % at 25 °C and an offset error of 0.05 %. For long-term stability, the module has a gain drift of 6 ppm/°C and an offset drift of 80 µV/°C that makes it suitable for use in environments with fluctuating temperatures. This voltage output module includes comprehensive protection features such as overvoltage protection up to ± 27 V at 25 °C and short-circuit protection that can be sustained indefinitely. The module's output impedance is 2.0 Ω. This contributes to its robust and stable performance in demanding operational settings. The module supports up to 1,500 pF of capacitive load that ensures stable performance across a range of load conditions.

The 781119-10 module comes in different configurations for connector types including spring terminals and DSUB. The spring-terminal version supports the wiring of copper conductors between 28 AWG and 18 AWG with screw flanges provided for secure connection. The module's ingress protection rating of IP40 makes it suitable for use in industrial environments though it should be panel-mounted to meet shock and vibration standards. The NI 781119-10 output module operates within a temperature range of - 40 °C to 70 °C and can withstand storage temperatures of up to 85 °C.
