National Instruments 781282-01 C Series Motor Drive Module

Part Number 781282-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-9502 C Series Motor Drive Module. The 781282-01 can output 4 A (2.8 Arms) continuous or 8 A (5.6 Arms) peak current in its motor outputs. Likewise, it has a maximum peak time of 1 second and a minimum dwell time between peaks of 15 seconds. The peak output power of the module is 0.2 kW. Similarly, the continuous output power of the module is 0.1 kW. Furthermore, the module supports two methods of commutation: Field Oriented Control and Trapezoidal. 

Moreover, the minimum inductance is 250 µH while the maximum ripple frequency is 20 kHz. The current loop in the 781282-01 has an ADC with a resolution of 12 bits and a sampling rate of 10 kHz, equating to a sampling period of 100 µs. Similarly, it supports a current range of ±8 A while the bandwidth of the module is 2.5 kHz with a specified minimum inductance and varies with tuning and the load. The 781282-01 has a power consumption of 700 mW (max) in active mode and 2.5 mW (max) in sleep mode. The 781282-01 has screw terminals that are compatible with copper wires whose diameters range between 26 to 14 AWG. Likewise, the torque in the screw terminals must be 0.5 to 0.6 Nm. Similarly, screw flanges are provided for connector securement and the torque for these should be 0.2 Nm. The 781282-01 has an operating temperature range of -40 to 70 °C at a relative humidity of 10% to 90%. On the other hand, it can be stored at a much wider range of  -40 to 85 °C at a relative humidity of 5% to 95%. Note that the module is designed for indoor use only within a maximum altitude of 2000 m.
