This Voltage Input Module features built-in noise rejection capability, able to reject noise up to 50/60 Hz. It can be configured to reduce the number of active modules as needed. Do not connect this module with DSUB to signals or use it for measurements within Measurement Categories II, III, or IV, or on MAINs circuits or circuits derived from Overvoltage Category II, III, or IV, which may have transient overvoltages. Only transients up to its transient overvoltage rating can be tolerated by the DSUB connected NI 783729-01 without causing insulation breakage or damage. Before making measurements, analyze the working voltages, loop impedances, temporary overvoltages, and transient overvoltages in the system.
