National Instruments' 785185-01 is a high-density thermocouple input module that is part of the NI-9213 Model series. Together with one internal autozero channel and one internal cold-junction compensation channel, it offers sixteen thermocouple channels. This module, designed for systems with more channels than usual, provides a way to add thermocouples to mixed-signal test configurations without taking up too many slots.
Each channel of the 785185-01 module undergoes differential filtering before being multiplexed and sampled by a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). With functions like cold-junction compensation, open-thermocouple detection, and anti-aliasing filters, the module guarantees precision and dependability. Additionally, it is equipped with NIST-traceable calibration and a channel-to-earth ground double isolation barrier, which guarantees safety, noise immunity, and a wide common-mode voltage range.
