National Instruments NI-9202 C Series Voltage Input Module
Featured with 10 kS/s sampling rate, the National Instruments NI-9202 is a 16-Channel, 24-Bit Voltage Input Module from the C Series. This model offers users 16 simultaneously sampled, differential input channels to allow the development of large, distributed systems. To eliminate noise, the NI-9202 utilizes configurable filters, while maintaining low-latency to be consumed in control systems.
This module is designed in a rugged form factor and is a viable solution for the development of extensive, distributed control infrastructure. The NI-9202 is available in three variations: with spring terminals (Part Number: 784400-01), with D-SUB type front connection (Part Number: 784399-01), or with conformal coated spring terminal type front connections (Part Number: 784400-02).
Each of the eight channels on this module provides a ±10 V measurement range. This model allows the user to choose one of the five different filter responses. With this input module, users will be able to achieve floating differential connections by connecting the -ve lead to COM through a suitably rated (1 MΩ usually) resistor. This arrangement helps keep the signal source limited to the common-mode voltage range. The National Instruments NI-9202 can be operated within a range of -40 °C to 70 °C. The DSUB variation of this module allows users to utilize I/O cables up to 30 meters in length.
The rated isolation voltages for this module (with spring terminal) is 250 V RMS and 60 V DC for NI 9202 with DSUB. However, this module is tested to withstand 3,000 V RMS surges.
