The NI‑9212 is a C Series Temperature Input Module manufactured by National Instruments. There are two part numbers available for this module. Part number 785259-01 has 0.71 degrees C measurement accuracy, 60 Vrms Ch-Ch Isolation, and a mini-TC front connector. Part number 782975-01 has 0.39 degrees C measurement accuracy, 250 Vrms Ch-Ch Isolation, and a Screw Terminal front connector. This module can operate with both CompactDAQ and CompactRIO platforms. The NI 9212 is suitable in a wide range of applications, such as in-vehicle data logging, battery stack testing, and white goods testing.
The NI 9212 module has 8 isolated thermocouple channels that can generate simultaneous samples. The maximum sample rate is 95 S/s/channel. This module is hot-swappable and can operate at a maximum voltage range up to ±78.125 mV. It is operated through LabVIEW software. This software enables the NI-9212 to be used for large project development. It uses DAQ assistance and Instrument I/O assistance to produce an automatic code.
