National Instruments NI-9226 C Series Temperature Input Module

The NI‑9226 (Part Numbers: 785189-01, 783864-01783864-02, 783704-01, 157643A-01L) comes with 8 channels, 400 S/s aggregate sample rate, 0 Ω to 4000 Ω, and it belongs to the C Series by National Instruments. In addition to what was previously mentioned, it is an obstruction temperature locator (OTL) input module with a 0.15 ºC analysis efficiency. The NI‑9226 can be configured for two example rate modes, which are high example rate or high determination. The NI‑9226 features adjustment and a high-normal mode voltage area. In the case that 3‑ and 4‑wire OTL estimations are used, the NI 9226 will perform without any problem or complication. It is important to highlight that it consequently recognizes the sort of OTL (3‑ or 4‑wire) connected with the channel and sets up each channel for the fitting mode. The module gives per-channel current excitation.

This module also takes estimations from thermocouples and obstruction temperature locator (OTL) for CompactDAQ or CompactRIO frameworks. This C Series Temperature Input Module includes 8 channels of temperature contribution from thermocouples or RTDS. Modules can incorporate hostile to associating channels, open-thermocouple disclosure, and cold-junction compensation. A few models from this series likewise feature detachment for security, sound invulnerability, and high-regular mode voltage area.

Users can set the Calibration Mode to Calibrated in the C Series Module Properties dialog box for the NI-9226 if they need the FPGA I/O Node to return calibrated, settled-point information for the module in units of ohms. If the user sets the Calibration Mode to Raw, the FPGA I/O Node returns uncalibrated, parallel qualities for the module. Once the user changes these twofold qualities to ostensible qualities, they can convert the nominal resistance values into temperature values.

The spring terminal model of the device weighs 5.7 oz while its DSUB counterpart weighs slightly less at 5.04 oz. It has a recommended operating temperature range of -40 to 70 °C, a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 °C, an operating and storage humidity range of 10 to 90% RH and 5 to 95% RH respectively, and a random and sinusoidal operating vibration of 5 grms and 5 g respectively – at a frequency range of 10 to 500 Hz.
