National Instruments 777318-111 Analog Input Module for Compact FieldPoint 

National Instruments part number 777318-111 is an identifying part number for the cFP-AI-111, an Analog Input Module for Compact FieldPoint with 16 channels all with the update rate range from 3 Hz to 0.83 Hz. The channels on this model are single-ended analog input channels with an input impedance of 100 Ω. It offers three filter settings (50 Hz, 60 Hz, and 500 Hz) and three input ranges (±20 mA, 4 mA to 20 mA, and 0 mA to 20 mA). The device features an update rate ranging from 3 Hz to 0.83 Hz. The NI cFP-AI-111 provides integrated overvoltage protection for transients up to 2,300 Vrms. 

This Analog Input Module can be installed on a live and powered Compact FieldPoint backplane without disrupting the ongoing operations of the system. The 16 input channels on the 777318-111 share a common, isolated ground reference and feature integrated overcurrent protection set at ±30 mA. For current measurements, the current entering the Iin terminal is considered positive, while the current leaving the terminal (Iin) is read as negative. These filters provide notches of rejection at the harmonics or multiples of any fundamental frequency, offering 95 dB of rejection at the fundamental frequency and at least 60 dB of rejection at its harmonics. It operates effectively within a temperature range of –40 to 70 °C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from –55 to 85 °C. The device supports a non-condensing humidity range of 10 to 90% RH. 

It is designed to withstand vibrations, with an operational random vibration rating of 5 grms and a sinusoidal vibration rating of 5 g, both within the frequency range of 10 to 500 Hz. National Instruments has declared obsolete status for the 777318-111 but it is still available for purchase at Apex Waves website.
