National Instruments 777318-140 Strain/Bridge Input Module for Compact FieldPoint

Part Number 777318-140 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments cFP-SG-140 Strain/Bridge Input Module for Compact FieldPoint. The 777318-140 features 8 differential input channels that are connected to a delta-sigma ADC having a resolution of 16 bits. The filters can be tuned to frequencies of 15, 60, or 240 Hz while the excitation voltage can be tuned to 2.5, 5, or 10 V. Note that the current is limited to 21 mA per channel. The 777318-140 supports multiple bridge configurations: full bridge, half-bridge, or quarter bridge.

The gauge factor is set through the software while the input impedance is 20 MΩ. The gain errors and offset errors are temperature-dependent. Similarly, these modules are only designed for indoor use and the user must mount it inside a sealed enclosure for outdoor use. Likewise, the module is to be operated within a maximum altitude of 2000m. On the other hand, it can be stored at a wider range of -55 to 85 °C. The module satisfies the requirements of CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010.1, IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, UL 3121-1, and UL 61010C-1 safety standards.
