Part Number 777318-400 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments cFP-DO-400 Digital Output Module for Compact FieldPoint. The 777318-400 features 8 sourcing digital output channels having a range of 5 to 30 VDC. The output impedance is 0.3 Ω between the range of 10-30 V (equating to 0.3 V drop at 1 A) while it reaches 2 Ω between 5 to 10 V. Likewise, the maximum output current per channel at 5 to 10 V is 0.67 A while it is 1.35 amp-squared for all channels. The module draws 365 mW of power from the network module. The transient overvoltage is 2300 Vrms while there is no channel-to-channel isolation. 

The 777318-400 weighs 106 g and features green POWER and READY indicators as well as 8 green output state indicators. The POWER LED lights up when the module is inserted into a terminal base or a backplane and power is applied to the connected network module. Similarly, when the network module recognizes the presence of the output module and sends in the initial configuration, the READY indicator lights up. Furthermore, each channel has a green, numbered output state indicator that lights up when the channel is in the ON state.  Note that the module is hot-swappable and has user-configurable startup states that ease operation and replacement. 

The recommended temperature range for the operation of the 777318-400 is  -40 °C to 70 °C  at a relative humidity of up to 10% to 90%. On the other hand, it can be stored at –55 °C to 85 °C. Note that the device is designed only for indoor use and must be mounted inside a sealed enclosure for outdoor use. Furthermore, the device should be operated within a maximum altitude of 2000 m, and isolation voltage ratings must be lowered at higher altitudes. The device meets the following safety standards for electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use: IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, UL 3121-1, UL 61010C-1, and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010.1.
