cFP-AI-110, 16-Bit, Analog Input Module for Compact FieldPoint
National Instruments cFP-AI-110 Analog Input Module for Compact FieldPoint
The National Instruments cFP-AI-110 (Part Number: 777318-110) is an 8-Channel, 16-Bit, Voltage and Current, Analog Input Module for FieldPoint and Compact FieldPoint. This model comes featured with a software selectable 50/60 Hz Noise Filter and offers 5 Hz to 0.66 Hz update rate on all channels. The NI cFP-AI-110 is a versatile input module that can be employed for measuring voltages from the millivolt to high voltage levels in applications like fuel-cell testing, battery-pack monitoring, and routine measurement from various types of transducers.
Below are some of the many features of the NI device:
- 8 analog voltage/current input channels
- 8 voltage input ranges of 0–1 V, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, ±60 mV, ±300 mV, ±1 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V.
- 3 current input ranges of 0–20, 4–20, and ±20 mA, and
- 3 filter settings of 50, 60, and 500 Hz.
This module can also be used for the measurement of 0 mA or 4 to 20 mA from transducers and transmitters that are widely used in process, manufacturing, power generation, and other industries. For easy installation and maintenance, the cFP-AI-110 features a smart, integrated diagnostics function and an over-ranging function. This Analog Input Module allows the user to connect to any compatible industrial sensor or unit under test directly to get highly accurate measurements. This module comes with an ability to filter, calibrate, and scale raw signals which it receives from sensors; it keeps a check for issues with the wiring or the module. With under-ranging and over-ranging features, the NI cFP-AI-110 can measure sensors or inputs that are not calibrated according to the standard ranges.
This module comes featured with 250 Vrms of operational and 2,300 Vrms optical isolation. The NI cFP-AI-110 has a built-in bus for power distribution, which brings surplus power terminations on the module. This model consumes 350 mW of power, and has a recommended operating temperature range of –40 to 70 °C, and a storage temperature range of –55 to 85 °C. It weighs 4.8 oz., and measures 4.3 x 4.3 x 3.6 in. in physical dimensions.
