Part Number 783689-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments cDAQ-9135 CompactDAQ Controller. This eight-slot device has an on-die 1 MB shared L2 cache and an Intel Atom E3825 dual-core 1.33 GHz CPU. 32 GB of SSD (nonvolatile memory) and 2 GB of DDR3L (system memory) are included.

The 783689-01 features 2 network ports and supports the following Ethernet interfaces: 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 1000Base-T. These meet IEEE 802.3 standards and have a maximum cabling distance of 100 meters per segment. Communication speeds are configurable between 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1000 Mbps. Additionally, the device features one USB 2.0 Hi-Speed device port and two USB 2.0 Hi-Speed host ports. It also includes an RS-232 serial port with a maximum baud rate of 115,200 bps.

The 783689-01 includes an SD card slot supporting SD and SDHC standards with up to 32 GB capacity. It features a Mini DisplayPort with a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz. The device supports input voltage ranges from 9 V to 30 V DC, with a maximum power consumption of 46 W. The recommended power supply is 100 W, 24 VDC. The CMOS battery present on the device has a typical battery life of 10 years (with power applied to the power connector). The battery life reduces to 7.8 years and 5.4 years when stored at temperatures up to 25 °C and 85 °C respectively.
