Featured with a Dual-Core 1.06 GHz Intel Celeron U3405 processer, the National Instruments cDAQ-9138 (Part Number: 782323-01 and 782324-01) is an 8-Slot Controller. This model controls the data transfer, timing, and synchronization between an integrated computer and C Series I/O modules. For embedded monitoring and data controlling, the NI cDAQ-9138 comes equipped with 32 GB nonvolatile storage. With this microprocessor based controller, the user will be able to choose between running LabVIEW Real-Time software and Windows Embedded Standard.
The National Instruments cDAQ-9138 offers a broad range of expansion and standard connectivity slots, including: RS-485/422 serial, USB, RS232 serial, Ethernet, and MXI-Express. For a custom digital I/O, analog I/O, and CAN (controller area network), logging and measurement system, the user can combine their cDAQ-9138 with as many as eight C Series I/O modules.
Through its analog input, the cDAQ 9138 can acquire samples at 12.5 ns timing resolution and 50 ppm timing accuracy. This CompactDAQ Controller comes with 4 integrated counters/timers that support pulse, period, pulse width, semi-period, edge counting, and two-edge separation counter measurements.
The MXI-Express Port provided in this Controller offers communications at a rate of 2.5 Gbit/s and supports up to 7 m maximum cabling distance. For USB based communications, four USB 2.0, Hi-Speed ports can also be utilized. The NI cDAQ-9138 can be operated over a voltage input range of 9 V to 30 V. This Controller consumes 75 watts of power maximum while operating in standard configuration and operating conditions. This model weighs around 2.8 kg.
