National Instruments cRIO-9047 CompactRIO Controller

The cRIO-9047 (Part Numbers: 785621-01 and 785621-02) is a CompactRIO Controller from National Instruments with a 4-core Intel Atom E3940 CPU. Equipped with 2 Network/Ethernet Ports, this controller is compatible with IEEE 802.3 and has a maximum cabling distance of 100 m/segment. The two Serial Ports of the device, RS-232 and RS-485, have maximum baud rates of 115,200 b/s and 230,400 b/s respectively.

This cRIO Controller features 4 GB of nonvolatile memory, and the volatile memory has a max theoretical data rate of 12.8 GB/s. There are also three USB ports on the cRIO-9047, two host ports (USB Type-A and USB Type-C) and a USB Type-C port that is a dual role port (as either device or host). The maximum data rates for the USB Type-A port is 480 Mb/s. For the USB Type-C ports, the max data rate is 5 Gb/s.

The reconfigurable FPGA of the cRIO-9047 is a Xilinx Kintex-7 7K70T type with 4,860 kbits of available block RAM. When the user targets LabVIEW to a FPGA gadget, they can approach just to the LabVIEW VIs and capacities that bode well on the FPGA gadget. For instance, a regular FPGA gadget does not approach a plate drive, so File I/O capacities are not accessible on the Functions palette when the user focuses on that gadget.
