National Instruments NI myDAQ University Student Data Acquisition Device
The NI myDAQ (Part Number: 781326-01, 195509F-01L) is a University Student Data Acquisition Device that exposes students to engineering problem-solving using portable and programmable measurements created for experimentation in or out of the laboratory environment. The NI myDAQ utilizes a portable set of plug-and-play computer-based lab tools to provide students with a hands-on learning experience.
The NI myDAQ University Student Data Acquisition Device has eight LabView based instruments that allow students to access read-to-run software tools to execute laboratory experiments and simulations. The NI myDAQ aims to increase accessibility to experiment simulations b providing students with an affordable device. Together with Lab View and NU Multisim software tools, the NI myDAQ provides students with the opportunity to execute engineering simulations, power prototype systems, and analyze circuits.
NI myDAQ University Student Data Acquisition Device possesses the following components: analog input (AI), analog output (AO), digital input and output (DIO), audio, power supplies, and digital multimeter (DMM) that functions in a compact USB device. The NI myDAQ has two analog input channels. The analog input channels can be configured as general-purpose voltage output or audio output. The NI myDAQ has eight DIO lines and three available power supplies. +15 V/-15 V may be used to power the analog components, for example, operational amplifiers and linear regulators. +5 V is for power digital components, for example, logic devices. The NI myDAQ allows for measuring voltage (DC and AC), current (DC and AC), resistance, and diode voltage drop. The various channels may be configured for general-purpose high-impedance differential voltage input or audio input.
To use the NI myDAQ University Student Data Acquisition Device, install the corresponding software suite. Use the cable to connect the computer’s USB port to the USB port on the device. The computer will recognize the device and open the launcher.
NI myDAQ University Student Data Acquisition Device is a low-cost portable data acquisition (DAQ) device that uses NI LabVIEW and NI Multisim software tools, permitting students to measure and analyze signals real-time NI myDAQ University Student Data Acquisition Device is suitable for investigating engineering problems, electronics, and observing various sensor measurements.
