National Instruments SLSC-12202 60 V Digital I/O Module
National Instruments' SLSC-12202 (Part Number: 787244-01) is a 60V digital I/O solution that has 32 bidirectional channels that work with signal levels from cars and aircraft. Numerous applications can benefit from the flexibility afforded by the ability to configure each channel as either an input or an output. The channels can produce up to 150mA of current per channel when configured as outputs, and they can function in sourcing, sinking, or push-pull modes. To further increase its adaptability to various operational requirements, the module also permits the setting of two distinct output thresholds utilizing a maximum of two external reference voltages.
For input configurations, the channels support both sourcing and sinking modes. Furthermore, you can choose up to two distinct logic transition thresholds for each channel, which enables personalized input signal identification. Accurate signal processing for intricate digital systems is ensured by this dual threshold capability. The two banks of 16 channels each on the SLSC-12202 are powered by either of the two Vsup connectors. To further optimize power distribution and channel management, these banks are further separated into two ports, each with eight channels.
Strong protection features on this module guarantee dependable functioning even in challenging circumstances. Hiccup-mode protection guards against short-circuit defects on the digital output channels. The channel-disconnect switch is used by the control logic to disconnect the impacted channel in the event of a short-circuit problem. An automatic effort to re-enable the channel is made after it has been unplugged for one second. The channel keeps running in hiccup protection mode to protect the system if the short-circuit problem doesn't go away.
