The NI USB-6501 (Part Number: 779205-01, 192317-50, 192317E-50L (OEM)) is a small, portable Digital I/O Device. The USB-6501 NI incorporates USB cable strain relief and an LED indicator. The LED indicator utilizes green to show the device status. This LED indicator indicates the working status of the device in three different ways. If this LED is not lit, then the device is not connected. The LED does not give light when the Digital I/O Device is in suspended mode. The light is ON without blinking when the NI USB-6501 is connected. This shows that the device has not initialized yet. The LED gives a single blink when the device is working normally.
