National Instruments 782568-01 PC-Based Controller

The National Instruments 782568-01 PC-based controller is a high performance 1U controller specifically designed for managing PXI chassis in remote control setups. The model is also known as the RMC-8355. It features robust processing capabilities driven by dual Intel Xeon E5620 quad-core processors which are capable of running at a base clock speed of 2.4 GHz and a turbo frequency of up to 2.66 GHz. This allows the controller to efficiently handle demanding computational tasks. The controller is equipped with 12 DIMM slots allowing for up to 96 GB of RDIMM ECC memory per processor. This ensures stable and error free operation even in high memory usage scenarios.

This 782568-01 controller supports high disk bandwidth through its SATA-based hardware RAID support which allows for RAID 0, 1 and 5 configurations. This flexibility in RAID management ensures both data redundancy and enhanced read/write performance. The device supports both SSD and HDD configurations with a maximum capacity of up to 1 TB. The 1U form factor and rugged design allow it to be integrated easily into rack-mounted environments while its dual socket configuration maximizes processing power.
