The National Instruments 785321-01 (RMC-8356) is a 1U rack-mount external controller that is specifically designed for PXI and PXI Express based systems. Its purpose is to serve high performance, rack mounted test and measurement applications. The controller is powered by a quad-core Intel Xeon E3-1275 v5 processor running at 3.6 GHz with turbo boost capabilities reaching up to 4.0 GHz. This provides sufficient processing power for demanding real time applications. This hardware ensures reliable and quick data processing for users in industrial and scientific environments.

The model 785321-01 comes with a standard configuration of 16 GB DDR4 SDRAM utilizing unbuffered ECC (Error Correcting Code) memory modules which help to ensure data integrity. The memory can be expanded up to 64 GB across its four available DIMM slots and offers enhanced performance and scalability for more intensive applications.
