National Instruments 781659-04 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO

Part Number 781659-04 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-5734 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO. The 781659-04 features four analog input channels that are single-ended and can be simultaneously sampled. The channels support a BNC connector and the input impedance is 50 ohms per connector. It supports both AC and DC coupling (software selectable). Likewise, the gain can be set to 0 dB, 6 dB, or 12 dB whereas signal paths can be selected as Filter bypass, 7th-order Elliptic filter, or 7th-order Bessel filter with software.

The Aux I/O on the 781659-04 has 12 bidirectional channels (8 DIO and 4 PFI) and uses a HDMI connector. The interface uses a 3.3 LVCMOS interface and the recommended operating voltage is –0.3 V to 3.6 V. Likewise, the overvoltage protection in these channels is ±10 V while the +5 V voltage tolerance is 4.2 V to 5 V. The maximum power at +5 V is 10 mA and the maximum toggle frequency is 6.6 MHz. The total power consumed by the 781659-04 in typical operation is 4.5 W. The module measures (5.1 x 0.8 x 4.7 in.) in physical dimensions and weighs 332 g. The module operates between 0 °C to 55 °C at a relative humidity of 10% to 90% and within a maximum altitude of 2000 m.
