National Instruments 787454-01 PXI FlexRIO FPD-Link™ Interface Module

The National Instruments 787454-01 is a FlexRIO FPD-Link™ Interface Module that comes with 4 input and 4 output ports. It is also known as the PXIe-1486 and is designed to offer solutions for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous drive (AD) camera sensor testing. This module integrates the Texas Instruments FPD-Link™ interface with a Xilinx FPGA that delivers high-throughput vision and imaging capabilities essential for modern automotive applications. This interface module is equipped with a PCI Express Gen-3 x8 bus interface.

This 787454-01 module features a reconfigurable Xilinx KU11P FPGA that includes 298,560 LUTs, 2,928 DSP48 slices, 21 Mb of embedded block RAM, and 22 Mb of UltraRAM™. The module supports data transfers via DMA, interrupts, and programmed I/O while facilitating smooth and efficient data handling. The NI 787454-01 unit offers 4 GB of onboard DRAM (split into two banks of 2 GB each). With a DRAM clock rate of 1064 MHz and a physical bus width of 32 bits, it delivers a maximum theoretical data rate of 17 GB/s.
