National Instruments NI-5733 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO
The NI‑5733 (Part number: 781659-02) is a Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO by National Instruments. This module can perform as a high-speed digitizer when combined with a PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO. The NI-5733 module has two instantaneously sampled channels and can operate at 120 MS/s sample rate per channel. The NI 5733 can perform real time streaming and processing for analog data done through high performance Analog to Digital Converters. This Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO is excellent for applications which require organized high-enactment solutions, along with in-line data processing and high data streaming rates.
The NI-5733 module is structured with 16 bits analog input resolution. The NI‑5733 also features a Bessel, bypass hardware filters, and a selectable elliptic filter. The NI-5733 has a filter bypass path, which allows under sampling input filtering and provides maximum flexibility. The elliptic filter on the NI-5733 helps increase the flat bandwidth. This filter is suitable for frequency-domain applications. The selectable Bessel filter decreases group delay over the input bandwidth and is used for time-domain applications.
The NI-5733 Digitizer Adapter Module has AC and DC coupling. It is selectable and can be changed according to the user’s requirements. This module has a programmable gain ranged from 0 dB to 12 dB. This active feature helps provide a maximum range for low amplitude signals. The NI 5733 module also has 12 bidirectional general-purpose digital I/O channels. Each channel can create 4 concurrent samples with 16-bit resolution.
