National Instruments NI-5762 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO

The National Instruments NI-5762 is a 2-Channel, 250 MS/s, 16-Bit Resolution, Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO-based systems. When coupled with a compatible PXI FPGA Module, the NI-5762 works as a high-speed digitizer that can sample two channels simultaneously at up to 250 MS/s. This module provides two signal paths per channel: a filtered path (100 MHz elliptic filter) and an unfiltered path, enabling flexible signal acquisition.

This module is available in two variations:

-NI-5762 (-01) (Part Number: 781749-01) → AC-coupled with a 100 MHz elliptic filter.
-NI-5762 (-02) (Part Number: 781749-02) → AC-coupled, ideal for undersampling applications.

Both versions have AC input coupling and are fully compatible with Kintex-7 and Virtex-5 FPGAs.

This Digitizer Adapter Module includes a 100 MHz elliptic filter for its filtered signal path. The front panel of the device features: 2 analog input connectors (SMA type), 1 external trigger input connector (SMA type), 1 CLK IN connector (SMA type, for external or reference input), 1 AUX I/O connector (HDMI type, not HDMI-compatible).

For HDL IP integration, the NI-5762 module offers Component-Level Intellectual Property (CLIP), supporting two types of CLIP: socketed and user-defined. This module ships with socketed CLIP items, allowing users to add module I/O to their LabVIEW projects. During typical operation, the NI-5762 consumes 5.3 W of power. Physically, the module weighs 332 g (11.7 oz.) and has dimensions of 12.9 × 2.0 × 12.1 cm (5.1 × 0.8 × 4.7 in.).
