The NI-7935 (Part number: 783766-01) Controller for FlexRIO has many useful features, including but not limited to: 2 GB onboard FPGA-accessible DRAM, a NI Linux Real-Time (32-bit) operating system, SFP+ high-speed serial connectivity with rates of 3.125 Gbps, 6.25 Gbps, and 10.3125 Gbps, and a Xilinx Kintex-7 K410T FPGA. This FlexRIO Controller is ideal for high performance data streaming and processing.
The NI-7935R FlexRIO Controller’s programmable FPGA and embedded processor are enhanced for applications in the field involving embedded signal processing and advanced I/O features. The processor on the NI-7935 runs National Instruments Linux Real-Time. This Controller features a high-speed serial interface that allows users to develop their own protocol IP or reuse existing parameters. The NI 7935 FlexRIO Controller can be combined with FlexRIO Digitizer Adapter Modules to create a high-performance device with user-programmable firmware. The result is an instrumentation targeted at industry professionals who research and develop patented products in such fields as communications, industrial machinery, ultrasound, radar, spectrum analysis, and medical imaging.
