National Instruments PXI-1411 IMAQ Device
The PXI-1411 (Part Number: 778006-01) IMAQ Device comes with 16 MB of locally available fast synchronous dynamic RAM (SDRAM). The NI PXI-1411 can utilize the locally available RAM as a first-in first-out (FIFO) buffer, exchanging the image information as it is acquired or acquiring the image information into SDRAM and holding it for a later exchange to main memory. This model has a trigger control that screens and drives the outer trigger line. The user can arrange this line to begin an acquisition on a rising or falling edge and drive the line asserted or unasserted, like a computerized I/O line. The user can also map many of the PXI-1411 status signals to this trigger line and program the trigger line in polarity and direction.
The acquisition, scaling, and region of interest (ROI) circuitry screens the incoming video signals and routes the dynamic pixels to the SDRAM memory. The NI PXI-1411 can perform ROI and scaling on all video lines and edges. Pixel and line scaling exchange certain multiples (two, four, or eight) of pixels and lines to locally available memory. In a ROI acquisition, the user selects a region inside the acquisition window to exchange to the PCI bus.
Among the optional software packages included in this model, the user will find IMAQ Vision for LabView or Measurement Studio (LabWindows/CVI, Visual C++, Visual Basic), LabView, Measurement Studio (LabWindowsCVI, Tools for Visual Basic), and IMAQ Vision Builder.
