The input voltage range for the analog signals is 0.1 volts to +0.1 volts for sensitive signals and -10 Volts to + 10 volts for high-level signals. It also has a high input impedance with a CMRR ratio of 110 dB to ensure strong and noiseless signals.
This module features 4 analog output channels which help produce the processed signals with the help of the 16-bit digital-to-analog converter which can be used for the required applications. The module has an output update rate of 2.86 MS per second when one channel is used and 2.76 MS per second when multiple channels are used simultaneously. The voltages of the output signal produced are between -10 to 10 volts. The output channels have low output impedance to help generate driving currents for up to 5 mA of current. The 779639-01 Data Acquisition Module has 48 Digital I/O channels or lines of which 32 channels are available on port 0 and the other 16 are on port 1 and 2. Each digital I/O channel is user-programmable and can be programmed as an input or output. The digital channels support 5 Volts TTL/CMOS logic levels and include pull-down resistors to ensure defined logic states when not actively driven.
The module includes two 32-bit general-purpose counters/timers capable of performing various measurements, including edge counting, pulse width, period, and two-edge separation. It also supports quadrature encoder inputs for position measurements. The onboard frequency generator can produce square waves with 10 MHz and 100 kHz base clocks, divided by any integer from 1 to 16.
