The NI PXIe-PCIe8372 (Part Number: 779722-03) has a sustained throughput of 832 MB/s, which is the highest throughput in the MXI-Express x4 Series. This MXI-Express Kit is comprised of a PCIe-8372 board in the user’s PC attached with a x4 MXI-Express cable to a PXIe-8370 module in slot 1 of a PXI Express chassis. The advantage of using the PCIe-8372 is that it offers two cabled PCI Express links, unlike the PCIe-8371 which only offers one link. The result of implementing the PCIe-8372 into a PC is that each link can be utilized to cable to a separate PXIe-8370 module in a different PXI Express chassis.
