National Instruments NB-AO-6 Analog Output Board

The NB-AO-6 is an Analog Output Board for the Macintosh NuBus, which is ideal for many Macintosh control and data acquisition applications. This board can be utilized with the NB-DMA2800 to create multiple-channel simultaneous waveforms. The NB-AO-6 is designed by National Instruments. The NI NB-AO-6 can be ordered under the part number 776160-01. The NB-AO-6 board functions with NI-DAQ driver software for Macintosh. This board can be programmed with LabVIEW for Macintosh. The National Instruments NB-AO-6 Analog Output Board contains 6 identical analog output channels. The current output type is 4 to 20 mA current sink to ground on this board. The current outputs have short circuit and open circuit protection. The NI NB-AO-6 has unipolar or bipolar voltage outputs. Several of the voltage ranges include 0 to 10 V and 0 to 2.5 V. The voltage outputs have short circuit to ground protection.

However, since this board has low time and temperature coefficients with chopper-stabilizing and flying-capacitor techniques, this ensures that recalibration is rarely required. In addition, adjusting the jumper settings does not impact calibration.
