The module is designed on the advanced dual-processor architecture that uses a Motorola MC68331 real-time 32-bit CPU, combined with an Analog Devices ADSP-2185 digital signal processor (DSP) and custom field programmable gate arrays.
The 777935-01 has a PID update rate range of 62.5 to 500 µs/sample allowing it to quickly change the output of the servos based on the input values. It has position accuracy of ±1 quadrature count with encoder feedback and ±1 LSB with Analog feedback. The trajectory update range for this controller is 62.5 to 500 µs/sample with 4 axis update range of 250 µs total.
This module has 8 multiplexed analog inputs with 4 reserved for user signals and the other 4 reserved for calibration. The programmable voltage range of the inputs is ±10 Volts, ±5 Volts, 0 to 10 Volts, 0 to 5 Volts. The controller also features 4 analog outputs with a voltage range of ±10 Volts and a current range of ±5 mA. This module comes with 4 8-bit ports Digital I/Os with 2 PWM outputs.
