Part Number 779038-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments LFH200 Switch Cable. The 779038-01 is a switch cable that is designed to be used with NI switch modules that connect through an LFH200 connector. The switch comes with multiple configurations. First, the SH200LFH-4xDB50F-C (Part Number: 779038-02) is used with SCXI-1169, PXI-2570, or PXI-2571. Likewise, the second configuration, known as SH200LFH-BARE WIRE (Part Number: 779038-01) features 25 unterminated, stripped, and tinned wires at the application end or the device end. Furthermore, the third configuration, known as SH200LFH-4xDB50F-S (Part Number: 779038-03), is used to integrate SCXI-1175 or PXI-2575 into a system.
To connect the 779038-01 to an appropriate system, first, we connect the LFH200 connector to the connector on the switch module. Then, the thumbscrews are tightened. The D-SUB connectors and the unterminated wires are connected to the user’s application. The 779038-01 supports maximum voltage up to 60 VDC, CAT I. The differential impedance is 100 ±15 Ω while the single-ended impedance is 65 ±15 Ω. Likewise, the mutual capacitance is 15.0 pF/ft while the single-ended capacitance is 25.0 pF/ft. Similarly, the cable has a maximum time delay of 1.60 ns/ft while the time delay skew is 0.040 ns/ft. Furthermore, the differential attenuation is 0.025 dB/ft (maximum) at 5 MHz while the single-ended attenuation is 0.085 dB/ft (maximum) at 50 MHz. Moreover, the conductor DC resistance is 0.070 Ω/ft (maximum) while the gauge is 28 AWG.
