This cable comes with a 9-Pin, Male SAE J1962 OBD-II Type A Back-End Connection and a 9-Pin, Female D-SUB Front-End Connection. This cable is available under the art number 193942-02. The OBDII9M-DB9F CAN Cable is widely used in the automobile industry.

This cable is designed to provide connectivity between the National Instruments high-speed CAN interface and the high-speed CAN of any OBD-II compliant vehicle. The National Instruments OBDII9M-DB9F CAN and LIN Cable is used for performance analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of vehicles because it offers connectivity between the CAN wire of the standard CiA-DS-102 D-SUB connector and the SAE J1962 connector.

The OBDII9M-DB9F CAN Cable is fully compatible with various NI CAN Interfaces, including PCI, USB, PCMCIA, CompactRIO, and PXI platforms. The impedance of this cable is 20 Ω. There are also two, 24 AWG twisted pairs on this cable.
