National Instruments PC-Servo-4A 4-Axis Servo Controller
The PC-Servo-4A is a four-axis Servo Controller. The NI PC-Servo-4A can be utilized with several types of accessories, including connectors and cables, and driver amplifier units for universal motion interfaces (UMIs). The manufacturer of the PC-Servo-4A is National Instruments. There are a few types of configurations that can be performed on the controller, such as input or output related configurations and bus related configurations. The PC-Servo-4A has dimensions of 13.3 by 3.9 in.
The main I/O connector on this controller is a 50-pin male box header. The NI PC-Servo-4A can function under 0 to +5 Vcc (Vcc = +5 V ± 3%) analog input voltage with a resolution of 8 bits. The PC-Servo-4A has analog output voltage levels of ± 10 V (typ) and ± 9.5 V (min). The PC-Servo-4A has an output current of ± 5 mA typically with a short circuit current of ± 40 mA and 12 bits resolution. The maximum power that can be consumed by this Servo Controller is 10.5 W.
The National Instruments PC-Servo-4A Servo Controller can be utilized in computers with an ISA slot. The NI PC-Servo-4A can provide motion control for a maximum of four independent axes of motors. This feature is fully programmable, with additional I/O for home switches and limit switches, as well as other general-purpose functions.
The PC-Servo-4A Servo Controller can be used in many applications, e.g. position control or velocity control, along with point-to-point position, velocity profiling modes, and event-based motion profiling modes. This Servo Controller can be used with multiple types of National Instruments devices, such as DAQ or SCXI.
PC-Servo-4A Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
