National Instruments PCI-8513/2 CAN Interface Device
The PCI-8513/2 (Part number: 780684-02) is a 2-port, programming selectable controller area network (CAN) Interface Device. All NI-XNET PCI interfaces highlight a NI RTSI synchronization connector for steering synchronization motions between NI RTSI-empowered boards. To synchronize signals with other NI RTSI-empowered boards, utilize RTSI strip links. All NI-XNET PXI interfaces course RTSI signals over the PXI timing and synchronization bus situated in the PXI backplane. The NI PCI-8513/2 interface includes front-panel sync connectors for directing planning and synchronization signals to outside gear. All NI-XNET C Series interfaces in a NI CompactDAQ or NI CompactRIO case naturally share a typical timebase with different modules in the suspension. The NI device is equipped with 2 9-pin male D-SUB I/O connectors. It has 1 TJA1054A, 2 TJA1041, and 2 AU5790 transceivers.
With the PCI-8513/2 CAN Interface Device, the user can choose each port exclusively on one of the accompanying handsets: fast, low-speed/fault-tolerant, or single wire. When a handset is chosen, it associates its locally available handsets to the port and carries on the same as a dedicated interface. Programming selectable interfaces are perfect for applications that require interfacing with different sorts of CAN systems, such as creation test, check and approval, and adaptable equipment insider savvy test systems. The FlexRay physical layer on PXI and PCI NI-XNET interfaces is inside fueled. All things considered, there is no compelling reason to supply bus control. The COM stick fills in as the reference ground for the bus signals. For all XNET gadgets, the end is programming selectable. XNET gives the choice of 80 between Bus Plus and Bus Minus or no end. The user cannot set end for channel A and channel B freely. The device has 7 I/O trigger lines and 1 I/O clock line. It has a CAN_H, CAN_L bus lines voltage range of -27 VDC to +40 VDC.
The PCI-8513/2 weighs 0.22 lb, and measures 4.2 x 6.6 in. in physical dimensions. It has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C, a storage temperature range of -20 to 70 °C, and non-condensing operating and storage humidity ranges of 10% to 90% RH and 5 to 95% RH respectively.
