This device has 68-pin female high-density motion I/O connector and 68-pin female high-density 32-bit digital I/O connector. The motion I/O connectors contain all the necessary signals required for closed-loop motion control of up to eight axes. The digital I/O connectors contain 64 bits of digital I/O and 12 inputs for four Hall effect sensors. Motion I/O Connector 0 deals with Axes 1-4 and the Motion I/O connector 1 provides access to Axes 5-8. This device has a maximum step frequency of 8 MHz accommodating full, half, and micro step.
