National Instruments 781339-02 PXI Vector Signal Analyzer
The National Instruments 781339-02 is part of the PXIe-5663E model series, renowned for its wide instantaneous bandwidth and versatile functionality. With its large instantaneous bandwidth and support for RF list mode, which enables quick and deterministic configuration changes, it improves the speed of multiband measurement. This device can evaluate both custom and standard modulation formats because it is compatible with the Modulation Toolkit and functions as a spectrum analyzer and vector signal analyzer.
Measurements using the 781339-02 are made easier for a wide range of communication technologies, such as GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, WiMAX, LTE, Bluetooth, WLAN, DVB-C/H/T, ATSC, and MediaFLO. High-performance RF measurements can be achieved at a reasonable cost thanks to its software-defined nature, which enables reconfigurable experiments utilizing standard-specific toolkits.
This analyzer produces precise and accurate results with a frequency range of 10 MHz to 6.6 GHz and a tuning resolution of 533 nHz. Depending on the tuned frequency, its equalized bandwidth can range from 10 MHz to 50 MHz.
The internal frequency reference of the 781339-02 has a frequency of 10 MHz and a temperature stability of ±1 × 10^-6 for reference stability. The annual aging can only be ±5 × 10^-6, and an accuracy of ±3 × 10^-6 can be attained initially. It also takes an external frequency reference input of 10 MHz (±10 × 10^–6) with an amplitude ranging from 0.2 V to 1.5 V into 50 Ω from peak to peak.
Performance-wise, this analyzer shows very little LO leakage at the RF input port and sideband spurs. Within the frequency range, third-order intermodulation distortion levels are robust, as indicated by input IP3.
The input and output characteristics of the 781339-02 include a 16-bit resolution for IF/baseband, a system IF frequency range of 187.5 MHz ± 25 MHz or 53 MHz ± 10 MHz, and a sample rate of 150 MS/s. Its onboard memory capacity of 64 MB or 256 MB, coupled with adjustable digital downconverter bandwidth, further enhances its versatility and utility in various applications.
